Biography of Bro. Ron N. Shearer
Brother Ron Shearer's life mission can be summed up by one verse from the book of Ezra: "Ezra purposed in his heart to study the Word of God, to practice it, and to teach it in Israel." (Ezra 7:10). In his position as Lead Pastor of Blue Hill Gospel Chapel, he is passionate about the study of God's Word in order to teach the Scriptures, disciple the church and develop Christian leaders.
Brother Ron ministers weekly at The Haven (Drug Rehabilitation) and monthly at the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services. He has participated in mission trips in the Caribbean and the US.
Pastor Ron holds an AA in Business Management from The College of The Bahamas, BA in Pastoral Studies from Moody Bible Institute, and a ThM from Dallas Theological Seminary.
He is married to Daphne Shearer, his dedicated wife and ministry partner, and their union is blessed with four delightful and supportive adult children, Reuben, Romel, DeAnna and Ron II.
